I’m an award-winning music industry journalist, analyst and consultant based in Brooklyn by way of Miami.
I began my career at Billboard, where over five years I wrote cover stories on influential artists like Tame Impala, Travis Scott and Alicia Keys, as well as features exploring topics like Bandcamp’s impact on the music industry and the booming business of TikTok influencers. Now at MIDiA Research, I identify the risks and opportunities in the rapidly-changing music market for a client base of leading global entertainment and tech companies. I have also spoken at conferences like SXSW, IMS Ibiza, and Music Biz, am a regular guest on the Trapital podcast, and — coming full circle — have been quoted in publications like BBC, The New York Times and NPR’s All Things Considered.
My best work is driven by fresh perspectives, compelling data and the ethos that information should be shared.
